LEAN

Dear Insecurity, I have decided to break up with you (after listening to the podcast episode Dear consistency, I have decided to stop breaking up with you. – Tough Skin Soft Heart by Shannon Cohen.)!

Insecurity, now that we are no longer in a relationship my focus is to practice being objective, reflecting on my successes/accomplishments, learning from my mistakes, assessing my circumstances, engaging in positive self-talk. I have made a full commitment to practice Self-Appreciation

It takes courage to left go of old mindsets. Today, reflection “Learn how to love yourself. Process failure and disappointment as EVENTS not who you are” – quote by @myleik

I’ve found myself leaning a lot this past year. I am blessed to have amazing friends who I can lean on. I was challenged to lean further into my creativity. But this year I also found myself leaning on to my own understanding at times. There were times where I tried to take matters into my own hands and those were the times I felt unstable. Here I am. Wiser. Stronger. Better. I commit to confessing Proverbs 3:5-6 over my life and pray that my heart would not be weary while waiting.
